Edwin Díaz, has always possessed a love for the written word. Inspired by this passion, Edwin first enrolled in writing courses at the Frederic Douglass Creative Arts Center which offered seminars and workshops for aspiring artist and writers. He later enrolled at The New School, a university for liberal arts, design, performing arts and social research, where he graduated with a degree in Creative Writing. He also holds an MBA from Mills College.

When not writing, Edwin works for a non-profit organization that focuses on youth development. An avid athlete, Edwin enjoys martial arts and playing any games involving throwing, catching, dribbling, or hitting a ball. He currently lives in the San Francisco Bay Area, with his family.
